Restore your youthful sparkle

Over time, the effects of aging are felt in our appearance. Excess fat and sagging skin can lead to bags under the eyes, giving the impression of constant fatigue. In some cases, the accumulation of lax skin on the upper eyelids can even impair vision. These outward changes may not reflect your true beauty and vitality, leaving you dissatisfied and discouraged. The fatigue and lack of joy caused by these problems can be frustrating. In addition, with excess skin on the upper eyelids, you may find it challenging to apply make-up or open your eyes fully, affecting your overall expression and self-confidence.

Are you ready to rejuvenate the tired, drooping appearance of your eyes? Do you desire a smoother undereye contour with no bags or puffiness?

Blepharoplasty at Toronto DermaPlastic Clinic allows you to achieve a more youthful, awake, and welcoming appearance to your eyes.

Awaken your natural beauty with Eyelid Surgery

Blepharoplasty is an eyelid surgery that restores the youthful look you once had. Our board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Reza Ahmadzadeh, removes small pockets of fat and excess skin around the eyes to redefine the eyelid’s shape, creases, and lift. Blepharoplasty can be performed on the upper and lower eyelid to help you appear more alert and feel more confident.

The Journey to a Brighter Appearance

You will be sedated under local or general anesthesia during your Eyelid Surgery. At the same time, Dr. Reza Ahmadzadeh carries out the details of your surgical plan. Every patient requires a unique amount of skin and fat removal to restore their natural eyelid contour.

Small incisions are made along the eyelid crease. The choice of incision on the upper or lower eyelid depends on the patient and the desired result:

Upper Blepharoplasty

An incision is made along the upper eyelid’s natural crease during upper eyelid surgery. Excess skin and fat are carefully removed or repositioned through this incision to achieve a more youthful, rejuvenated appearance. The incision is strategically placed to minimize visible scarring, resulting in an even, natural-looking result.

Lower Blepharoplasty

During lower eyelid surgery, the incision can be made in two locations, depending on the patient’s needs. One option is the transconjunctival incision, which is made inside the lower eyelid and leaves no visible scar on the outside. This incision allows excess fat to be removed or repositioned to reduce under-eye bags.

The second option is the subsidiary incision just below the lower lash line. This incision allows direct access to remove or reposition excess skin, as well as to treat fat deposits and tighten the muscles of the lower eyelid if necessary.

Your Path to Beautiful Results

Recovery from eyelid surgery, also known as blepharoplasty, is an essential phase during which your body recovers and adapts. After surgery, it’s common to experience discomfort, swelling, and slight bruising, especially in the first few days. To facilitate the healing process, you will be advised to use cold compresses, keep your head elevated and avoid strenuous activity or carrying heavy loads. Most patients can return to their usual activities, including work, within one to two weeks, depending on the nature of their job.

Youthful Eyes & Timeless Beauty

After eyelid surgery, the appearance of drooping or sagging upper eyelids will no longer interfere with your vision or ideal look. You’ll notice a remarkable reduction in the fatty tissue that causes bags under the eyes. As swelling diminishes, your eyes radiate a revitalized, vibrant appearance, making you look more awake, refreshed, and rejuvenated. These visual transformations will undoubtedly boost your self-confidence, allowing your inner beauty to shine through.
